Apart from a passport valid for a further 6 months, travellers
from abroadneed a visa (prices may vary) for entering Egypt.
Depending on the place of issuing, the visa is valid for 3 or 6 months and entitles the visitor to a maximum stay of one month. It can either be obtained in advance at the embassy/the consulate or – slightly cheaper- on entry at the airport or sea-harbour. Children – including babies – need their own valid photo ID/ children’s passport.
Starting from Europe, you will reach Cairo, Egypt’s capital, after a flight duration of approximately 3-5 hours. After prior arrangement, our bus-shuttle will collect you at the airport and take you to your accommodation in Solaimaneyah City in approximately 70 minutes.
A new international airport should be completed in the years 2008-2009, which will reduce the travel duration of 15 minutes.
At many airports all over Europe, airlines offer daily scheduled flights to Cairo. The flight duration from Germany is approximately 4 hours. The price for the tickets vary according to the date of booking and the chosen airline. You can find links to the different airlines below - simply click on the logo of the airline of your choice. Golf equipment is free of transport, but the permitted weight varies depending on the airline.
